Steve English decided to propose to his girlfriend through the press and made a page, which he slotted into her edition of the Eastern Daily Press. When she got to the page he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
The article read “I love you with all my heart. We’ve been with each other for years and my love for you grows more each year. You are a beautiful and caring person and have always been there for me 100% through the bad times. My family adores you and I cannot imagine my life without you in it. Now we are expecting our first child I hope you will say yes and make me the happiest man alive.”
2 – Via Lip Dubbing
Issac Lamb, an actor from Portland, proposed to his girlfriend with the help of 60 friends and family who helped perform an elaborate lip dubbing dance routine whilst she watched out of the back of a moving car. Intrigued? Take a look at the video and see how it all worked.

This proposal from China saw a man spend over £6000 building a replica of the transformers hero Optimus Prime to impress his girlfriend into marrying him. The replica took just over 10 months to build and was twice the height of a coach.

He convinced his girlfriend to go to the cinema with a friend and then arranged for the cinema to play a fake trailer before the movie that had him asking her father for permission and then making his way to the cinema to find her.
